The news from the recent Consumer Electronics Show focused on Internet TV as covered a number of places. But Mary Ann Johnanson, at FlickFilosopher, has a sharp post discussing what Internet TV means to her. Her points are dead on IMO. She sees the Internet eventually becoming the main distribution system for TV programming. As she says, “The networks will become Web sites, brands that are only about the programming, not how the programming gets to you.” I know I’m being really optimistic on this one. Heck; a large percentage of viewers have yet to get their boxes to receive digital TV over-the-air.
